Testimonials

"The Best of the Best

I was fortunate to meet Dr. Kaufman during the most difficult time in my and my family's life. At our first meeting I could feel his compassion and true desire to help me sort out all of the serious issues I face daily. His demeaner is such that he creates an atmosphere of calm and comfort each time we meet. The office is a safe place where anything can be said without judgement. Somehow I leave each session feeling stronger to face my situation. Even the highest recommendation would not be enough to describe how helpful he has been! I have recommended Dr. Kaufman to several people who all feel the same way!"

"I was fortunate to have been recommended to Dr. Kaufman by my primary care physician. I was in emotional pain for a long period and was not functioning well or finding happiness in life. My days were filled with fear and hopelessness. I could never have imagined the positive transformation I have experienced through therapy. Dr. Kaufman is a caring person and an experienced clinician. Most importantly his dedication to me as his patient has been remarkable. He consistently extends himself to help me heal, foster my growth, and develop my self-confidence. Of course, the journey has involved steadfast commitment on my part. If you are in distress and want to get to a more functional and peaceful place in your life, you could not likely find a better partner, guide and therapist to lead you to that better place. I wish you the successful journey that I have experienced."

"As a professional colleague of Dr. Kaufman, I've had the opportunity to refer patients, professionally partner with and share cases with him. He is a senior professional of the highest caliber having an outstanding education, decades of experiences handling often difficult cases and a true caring and compassion for not only the people he works with but the profession he so proudly represents as well. I would and will recommend Dr. Steve Kaufman as a psychotherapist without reservation."
